Prefect Equipment is dedicated to preserving our Environment for the benefit of our children and descendants. We are dedicated to using products, processes and techniques that are as gentle to the environment as possible. All of our products and components are sourced from suppliers and factories that operate a strict Environmental Policy and Management System. The two main components used to make our Lockers are Solid Grade Laminate (doors) and Medium Density Fibreboard (carcass) - both of which are made from fully recyclable materials. Our MDF is made from sustainable resources, quick growing pine wood that takes between 15 and 40 years to reach maturity. These trees absorb CO2 during their growth to maturity and lock it away in the timber. As the timber is not burned, the CO2 remains locked away and at the end of the locker's lifespan (which is very long due to the strength of MDF and SGL!) the materials can be recycled keeping the CO2 locked away for even longer. So our lockers won't just keep your belongings safe, they are helping to keep the planet safe as well.
